SMART Education have a healthy capacity of Qualified SEND Tutors experienced in home tutoring young people who are not currently accessing education (PRIMARY – POST 16 age groups) with a variety of backgrounds including but not exclusively:

• ADHD /ASD
• MLD
• SLD
• PMLD
• MEDICAL NEEDS
• SEBD
• SEMH
• COMPLEX NEEDS
• YOUTH OFFENDERS

We can provide qualified teachers to support young people who:

• Have been excluded from their school placement
• Have medical needs inhibiting their attendance at school
• Require interim tuition between school placements
• Are LAC / live in residential settings
• Require SEND support outside of school
• Are with Foster Carers / new to the area and awaiting allocation of a school placement
• Require specific subject Support for GCSE

So what does our provision offer?

We offer a robust provision directly to schools and also work closely with the SEND teams at 5 local authorities to provide specialist SEND tutors to students outside of an educational establishment. We allocate tutors based on the student’s individual needs, ensuring we source a tutor with the specific skillset required for the referral.

We invest valuable time in safeguarding and compliance and in-depth EHCP review alongside liaison with yourselves/tutors/carers/parents.

The provision we offer is of the highest quality, we provide fully Qualified Teachers with vast SEN experience to work with the students. We consistently provide highly specialised staff and invest an invaluable amount of time to ensure every referral is looked at on an individual basis.

We offer full CPD training through educare (DfE approved) to all of our staff, they have full access to 34 modules including Safeguarding, Prevent & Child Protection. We are APSCO Compliance+ accredited and have a rigorous 6-stage recruitment process, we source not only the safest but the most suitable and experienced candidates and are proud to be a CCS Framework Supplier.
